Owner's description At the southeastern end of the Sithonia peninsula lies one of the oldest villages in Halkidiki, Sykia. It has 3000 inhabitants and is 160 km away from Thessaloniki. There are different versions of how his name came about. The first version of the story is related to the shade of the Holy Mountain (in Greek skia), the second version comes from paraphrasing the Ancient City of the area (Siggos) which in the following years took the name Siggia and finally Sikija. Moreover, the existence of an old large tree (in Greek Sikia) around when the village was built is a possible version. The second place is Kukos, rocky and high, surrounded by a castle and probably there was a prehistoric settlement. The area is full of beautiful coastline. All the beautiful beaches are located at the foot of Itamos, a mountain with many roads and paths leading to the forest. At the end of that road, you enter the courtyard of the accommodation. The best way to get to the accommodation is from Sikija beach. From the direction of Sarti, you should turn towards Sikija beach, then continue straight until you reach the sea and the intersection where the road forks, on the left is the road along Sikija beach towards Sarti, and on the right where you should turn. After passing the tavern 5 steps in the sand, continue straight and at the first fork in the road (just before Turkolimnionas beach) turn right, uphill. This part of the road is narrow and along the cliff, so it is necessary to drive carefully. After a few minutes of driving you will see Klimataria beach. You continue to descend to the overpass and there you turn sharply left towards the beach and you will see the accommodation on the right. If you want to avoid the road along the cliff, coming from Sarti, do not turn towards Sikia, but continue a few hundred meters towards Kalamitsi and turn left from the highway, when you see the sign for Klimataria beach. Morfo Studios is an excellent choice for all those who want to escape from the crowds and chaos, spend their entire vacation on one beach, but it is also a great starting point for visiting other beautiful beaches.

It consists of three separate buildings in which there are a total of five studios, four completely new and one renovated studio. In the first row to the sea, there is a ground floor building with two brand new studios. In studio no. 2 is entered from the side, and studio no. 1 right. One (no. 2) has a double bed and another double bed that is slightly narrower than standard (for two smaller children), and the other (no. 1) has two double beds of standard dimensions. Both can accommodate a maximum of four people. The kitchens are slightly separated from the rooms, but there are no doors between them. The entrance is behind the accommodation, from the ground floor, but the studios are on the first floor. One of the studios has a double bed (no. 3), has a double bed and it is possible to add a cot. The second studio (no. 4) has four beds and has two French beds. The kitchens are equipped like other studios. Both bathrooms are tiled with showers, and are separated from the rest of the room by accordion doors. Considering that they are on a high ground, they have a fantastic view of the sea from the terraces. The terraces are spacious and have a table and chairs for sitting. Bed linen and towels are changed every five days. The back part of the yard is more tidy compared to the rest, so it has a table and chairs for sitting, a barbecue and a few toys for children. Owned by the same family, there is also the Zampakos tavern on the beach, whose sunbeds are provided free of charge with the ordered drink or coffee. Public parking is in front of the accommodation, next to the tavern, and there is also a parking space behind the older building. Pigadaki beach is not difficult to find. After turning off the main road towards Sikija beach, continue straight until you reach the fork in the road. The road to the left leads to Sikija beach, and to the right uphill to Pigadaki beach. The accommodation is located in a large, fenced yard, and on the ground floor in front of it is a tavern, known for its excellent home-made dishes prepared by the owner herself. The back yard is full of natural shade. You will reach Marianna Rooms and Apartments if you follow the signs to Kriarici Beach through the famous maze of roads. Whichever way you come, you will see a sign to turn towards this beach. If you are a fan of less commercial beaches and places, Kriarici beach and Marianna Rooms and Apartments can be an excellent choice. Supermarkets and bakeries are located in Sikia, about 15 minutes drive from the beach, and some of the most beautiful beaches in Sithonia such as Klimataria, Tourkolimnionas, Agridia, Kalamitsi are also very close.

Argo Studios is an accommodation just a few meters from the beautiful sandy beach of Pigadaki, with spacious balconies with tables and chairs to enjoy and breathtaking sea views. It is an excellent choice for couples or families who want privacy and rest in peace and quiet. The accommodation is located in Pigadaki Bay in Sikia, 70 m from the beach of the same name, near the famous tavern 5 Steps In The Sand. The nearest supermarket is 2.3 km away, and the nearest bakery is 1.5 km away. We offer three houses located on a gentle slope with a fantastic view of the sea. As soon as you arrive at the accommodation and close the gate behind you, you will find a little paradise. The houses are separated by a high fence, so privacy is guaranteed. The three-bed cottages (20 m2) each have one double bed, narrower than standard, and a single bed in the same room as the kitchen (which is separated by a bar) and a balcony (one is 30 m2, and the other is a little smaller, about 25 m2. The four-bed cottage (25 m2) has one sofa, a French bed and a single bed each, a kitchen separated by a wall without a door, and a balcony (40 m2). If needed, the owners can also provide a cot for the baby. This accommodation was built recently, so all the furniture is new. The kitchens in the three-bed studios are equipped with the necessary dishes, a refrigerator with a freezer compartment and a three-burner stove and a small oven. The four-bed studios have a two-burner stove, an Air Fryer and a large fridge-freezer. The bathrooms have an enclosed shower area with a curtain. Towels and bed linen are changed every 4-5 nights. The accommodation has private parking for three cars. Turn off the highway towards Sikija beach and continue straight to the intersection. Turn right and head uphill towards Pigadaki Beach. Pass the first cove, then a little before Pigadaki Beach turn right up the hill and after about 100 m you will see Argo Studios on the left. If you are looking for nicely decorated accommodation, in an excellent location, with a fantastic view of the sea and near famous taverns, this is the right choice for your vacation.

If you want to spend your vacation in a more modest accommodation on the beach, in a quiet place, then Georgia House can be good for you. The accommodation is located on Pigadaki beach (it is separated by a road) in Sikia, it is not new, but it is well maintained, and the owner is an elderly and very kind lady. It is only 10m away from the beach, and the nearest supermarket is 2.3km away, on the main beach of Sikkim. A baker and a grocer pass in front of the house every day, delivering their products and groceries, so purchasing is much easier. Pigadaki is a very beautiful beach, small and organized, with fine sand, shallows and calm sea. There are several restaurants on the beach, some of which are widely known, and nearby are some of the most beautiful beaches in Sithonia (Klimataria, Kriaritsi, Tourkolimnionas...). Georgia House has a charming courtyard full of flowers, two three-bed studios (3 Bed Studio, No. 1 & No. 2), one four-bed studio (4 Bed Studio, No. 3) and one four-bed apartment (4 Bed Apartment, No. 4). All units have the same square footage, about (22m2). Studios number 1 and number 2 have one double bed of standard size, one single bed larger than standard, kitchenette, bathroom with tiles, shower and curtain and terrace. They can host up to 3 people, a maximum of three adults. The third studio (no. 3) has one double bed narrower than standard and two single beds. It can host up to 4 people, maximum 3 adults. The bathroom has a bordered shower area with a curtain. All studios have nice terraces and a side view of the sea, small bathrooms that the owner has recently expanded, but are still small. There are clothes dryers on the terraces. In addition to the studio, there is also one apartment (No. 4) that has a large veranda in the shade, on which there is a sofa for sitting and a sofa for resting. The apartment has one double bed narrower than standard in the first room where there is also a kitchen, two single beds in the bedroom. It can host up to 4 people, maximum 4 adults. The bathroom has a shower with tiles and a curtain. All studios and apartments have a kitchen with a large refrigerator, stove with hotplates and necessary dishes. Internet and air conditioning are available to guests. Towels and bed linen are provided, and guests take care of hygiene during their stay. Of course, the accommodation is completely cleaned on the first and last day of stay. There is no private parking, but a parking space can be found nearby. Pigadaki beach is not difficult to find. After turning off the main road towards Sikija beach, continue straight until you reach the fork in the road. The road to the left leads to Sikija beach, and to the right uphill to Pigadaki beach. You will pass the first bay, and the very next bay is Pigadaki beach. On the beach you will see the Zampakos restaurant, and when you pass it, you will see this accommodation on the right. If you are not too demanding and want accommodation right on the beach, Georgia House can be a good choice.
