Our description
Hotel Potos is a complex of accommodation facilities in the very center of Potos. Coming from the direction of Limenaria, after the Alexander Beach Hotel (on the main road), turn half right into the first street that leads obliquely to the sea. You will see the gate of the Potos Hotel a hundred meters from the turn. The Pihtari restaurant is written on the board next to the gate.

Hotel Potos consists of four separate buildings.

The first building on the right consists of four studios with a kitchen, two on the ground floor and two on the first floor. All studios have one double bed and the possibility of inserting one or two extra beds with a standard mattress. The base of the extra beds is metal, but the height of the bed and the quality are the same as with a classic hotel bed.

The studios on the ground floor go directly to the children's playground with toys, and are suitable for families with children and people in wheelchairs (studios do not have steps and the bathrooms are adapted for people with disabilities). Two studios upstairs share a terrace, but each has a seating area and its own part. This terrace overlooks the sea.

This facility is the smallest of all in the complex and is slightly relocated in relation to the pool, so it offers the most peace and the best conditions for families with children. The studios are medium in size (about 20m2) as double beds, and with the insertion of extra beds it is significantly lost in space. The furniture is new, the first floor was renovated in 2011 and the ground floor in 2009.

The second building is central and at the same time the largest. It has a total of 12 rooms, two suites and two duplex apartments located on the first and second floor. It is a building that was completely renovated in November 2011.

All rooms (about 15m2) are equipped with luxurious, quality and modern furniture in gentle tones, which varies in color from room to room. The bathrooms are modern and with a shower. The rooms have one double or two single beds, as well as the possibility of inserting one extra bed with a standard mattress that suits an adult. There is a refrigerator in every room. Some rooms have a direct view of the sea, rooms with corner terraces overlook both the pool and the sea, while others overlook the resort and other facilities. There is also an elevator in this building.

Suite apartments (about 20m2) are without kitchen as well as all rooms in this building. They consist of a bedroom with a double bed or two single beds and a living room with a sofa for two people. The living room has air conditioning and a TV.

The second type of apartment is a duplex and consists of two separate bedrooms. Both rooms have access to the terrace, and the bathroom is in the hallway that connects the two rooms. The apartments have one TV and one air conditioner. In the first bedroom there is one double bed, while in the second there are two single beds.

The third building is located next to the pool. The terraces of all rooms in this building face directly the sea, the yard and the pool. Ten rooms are arranged on the high ground floor and the first floor, and all were renovated in 2009. Two rooms have three single beds or one double and one single bed, as well as the possibility of inserting an extra bed (with a standard mattress for the fourth person). Two rooms have one double and one single bed, as well as the possibility of inserting two or three extra beds with a standard mattress. Other rooms are double with extra bed for a third person. The furniture in these rooms is of good quality and new.

The last building is a very interesting villa, as the owners call it. It is a one-storey house with a basement, which consists of five apartments (about 30m2).

Two apartments are located on the ground floor and consist of a bedroom and a living room with a kitchenette. They go directly to a separate paved yard with small green areas, sitting and enjoying furniture with large tables, a movable barbecue and plenty of space in the shade for socializing and children's play. A few steps lead to the courtyard with pool. These apartments are ideal for large families who want more privacy in the yard. In the bedroom they have one double bed and the possibility of inserting an extra bed, and in the living room they have two sofas or two single beds, with the possibility of adding another extra bed.

One apartment is located a few steps below the level of the yard (in the basement) and also consists of a bedroom and a living room. The bedroom has one double and one single bed, and the living room has one single and one extra bed, as well as a rather large kitchen with a stove and oven. In front of the apartment is a sitting set.

Upstairs are two large apartments for larger families. The first apartment consists of a living room with a fireplace, a folding armchair for one person and one single bed, a kitchen and two bedrooms with beds for four people. This apartment is quite large, so another extra bed can be added. In front of the apartment there is a large balcony in the shade, with seating and enjoyment, overlooking the pool, pine trees and the sea. The second apartment is slightly smaller. It also has a large balcony overlooking the base and the sea, has its own barbecue on the terrace, living room with two single beds, large kitchen with refrigerator, small freezer and a classic stove with oven, and a bedroom with one double bed for two people . The apartments in the villa are ideal for large families. They are close to the pool, they are a bit isolated, so they have their own privacy. The furniture in the villa is a little older than the furniture in other buildings.

All accommodation units within the complex have wireless internet, satellite TV, air conditioning, safe, hairdryer, weighing scale, iron and telephone. Only apartments in the villa have a barbecue. Cleaning is done daily, while linen and towels are changed every three days.

Hotel guests can use the swimming pool, as well as bar and restaurant services. The restaurant offers breakfast based on a rich buffet (5-6 types of coffee, milk, several types of cured meat and dairy products, etc.). Drinks and juices are extra. Breakfast is served from 08:00 until 10:00.

The hotel does not have private parking, but there are two large and free public parking nearby (100 and 200m).

The hotel is in a great location. It is about 200m away from the city beach, and although it is a few steps from the promenade, it is protected from traffic and noise. From the yard you go directly to the promenade where there is a supermarket, bakery, pastry shop, souvenir shops, shops, fast food restaurants and the like.

If you want quality accommodation in a great location in Potos, Hotel Potos is certainly one of the best choices.
