Our description
Less than 100 meters from the sandy beach of Pigadaki, in a quiet location, is the house Aggelina. In front of the house is a parking lot, there are toys for children, as well as a common terrace with a beautiful sea view. Unobtrusive owners are always available.

The house is located on a small hill, and the beach can be reached by a path between other houses. The beach is 70m away, it is sandy, with shallow and crystal clear water. There are several taverns on the beach. A van with fresh fruits and vegetables passes by the street next to the beach every day. The nearest shop is on the highway, 2.4 km from the house, and the bakery just before it, 1.6 km from the house.

Aggelina house consists of five four-bed studios. Three (nos. 2, 3 and 4) are located on the first floor, and two (nos. 1 and 5) on the ground floor. Studios with bunk beds can accommodate a maximum of two adults and two children, while others can accommodate a maximum of three adults and one child.

Of the three studios on the first floor, two (Nos. 3 and 4) are with a double bed and bunk beds, and one (No. 2) with a standard double bed and a French bed narrower than the standard. The kitchens are equipped with basic utensils, a stove and a small fridge. Only in studio no. 2 large refrigerators. The bathrooms are the same and have a shower with a curtain. All studios have a walk-in terrace with a seating area and side sea views.

Studio no. 1 has one standard double bed and another narrower than the standard one. The kitchen is equipped with basic utensils, stove and small refrigerator. The bathroom has a shower with a curtain. The terrace has a seating set and overlooks the yard and parking.

Studio no. 5 has a double bed and bunk beds. The kitchen is equipped with basic utensils, a small oven with hobs and a large fridge. The bathroom has a fenced shower. The terrace has a seating area and overlooks the neighboring building.

All studios are air conditioned, have mosquito nets, TV and internet. If necessary, the owner can add a baby cot and a feeder to the studio. Towels and bed linen are changed every 3-4 days. A washing machine is available to guests at an additional cost.

Within the small yard there is a shower and barbecue. There is also a shared terrace with comfortable seating, overlooking the sea. There is enough parking space in front of the house.

Aggelina's house is easy to find. After turning off the highway towards Sikija Beach, continue straight on until the fork in the road. The road on the left leads to Sikija beach, and on the right uphill to Pigadaki beach. You will pass the first bay, just before Pigadaki beach there will be a road leading uphill, and you will also see a sign to turn towards the house. At the end of that street is Aggelina's house.

This house is ideal for families with children who do not want to change beaches every day, but to be close to a good beach. The environment itself is very quiet, so this is the right place to relax.

Owner's description
At the southeastern end of the Sithonia peninsula lies one of the oldest villages in Halkidiki, Sykia. It has 3000 inhabitants and is 160 km away from Thessaloniki. There are different versions of how his name came about. The first version of the story is related to the shade of the Holy Mountain (in Greek skia), the second version comes from paraphrasing the Ancient City of the area (Siggos) which in the following years took the name Siggia and finally Sikija. Moreover, the existence of an old large tree (in Greek Sikia) around when the village was built is a possible version.

The second place is Kukos, rocky and high, surrounded by a castle and probably there was a prehistoric settlement.

The area is full of beautiful coastline. All the beautiful beaches are located at the foot of Itamos, a mountain with many roads and paths leading to the forest. Rooms, camps, restaurants and bars are available for a comfortable stay, but above all, the hospitality of the locals.

Our accommodation consists of five studios. Three have one double and two bunk beds, the fourth has two double beds, and the fifth studio has one double and one single bed. All studios have an equipped kitchen with a mini-stove with oven, fridge with freezer and coffee maker, as well as air conditioning, TV, free WiFi and a balcony overlooking the magical and picturesque Sikki Bay and harbor. It offers parking and a common relaxation area, barbecue facilities and a children’s playground with beautiful views of Athos. The sea is located about 40m from the studio.

Towels and bed linen are changed every 3-4 days.

Our studios are located in the picturesque bay of Pigadaki, 2km from the crossroads in Sykia. Pigadaki can be reached after a few minutes drive by the sea, after the small beach Linaraki. Pigadaki Bay is located between several beaches that make up the Gulf of Sikh. Nearby are picturesque taverns with fresh fish, as well as beach bars such as the famous GOA, but also landscaped beaches with parasols.

At a distance of 10km is Sarti with a beautiful beach and rich nightlife.

The visitor has the opportunity to visit the famous beaches of Sithonia such as Klimatarija, Kriarici, Kavurotripes, Kalamici, Vourvourou.

Aggelina House is 155 km from Thessaloniki Airport.

Various boat trips around Athos are often organized.
