Hotel Galini is a quality accommodation located in the very center of the town, close to the promenade, with souvenir shops and restaurants. Also, its great advantage is that, although it is in the center, it has a small courtyard in the shade, which is a real oasis in the densely populated city center.
Hotel Galini, with two stars, is located in the very center of Limenas, on the corner of Dekatis Ogdois Oktovriu street, which is a promenade and shopping area, and Theagenous street, which leads to the new harbor (the part where there is a police station, public parking on the coast, a taxi station, an amusement park...), next to the Arvanitidis market, above the Stauropoulos jewelry store and the EFG bank branch. The hotel is 80 meters from the sea, and some 400-500 meters from the city beach (along the path along the sea).
On the ground floor of the hotel there is a reception, a small hall and an entrance/exit to the courtyard at the back of the hotel, paved, with sofas for sitting under vines.
There are 16 double rooms (a double bed or two single beds joined together) and three-bed rooms (two joined single beds and an opening sofa) available to tourists, whose side balconies overlook either the street and the sea or the street to the side of the hotel or the courtyard at the back of the hotel. The square footage of double rooms is 14m2 and three-bed rooms 15m2. The apartment (25m2) consists of one French bed, which is located in the bedroom, while in the living room there is a sofa bed. There is a double bed in the single room (11m2).
The rooms correspond to the categorization of the hotel, they are decent and clean. There is a wardrobe in every room, as well as a dressing table with a mirror. The rooms have a medium-sized refrigerator, a small TV, a telephone and air conditioning.
Cleaning is done daily, and bed linen and towels are changed every three days.
Parking is possible along the street in front of the hotel, although it is always very crowded, or in the public parking lot on the coast, in front of the police station (about fifty meters from the hotel).
After disembarking from the ferry, if you go on foot, you can reach the hotel in a few minutes, moving in the direction to the left towards the city center, the police station, the taxi station, the luna park. However, if you arrived on Thasos by car, you must drive to the opposite side of the hotel (to the right of the ferry landing), then go around the center of the town and go down towards the new port, the police station, the amusement park, considering that the street leading from the ferry landing to the hotel street is one-way, and you cannot drive directly to the hotel (opposite direction).
If you want accommodation in the heart of the city, next to the promenade, right next to shops, supermarkets, restaurants, taverns and all the entertainment that Limenas offers, then this hotel is an excellent choice.
