Alkyon Hotel is located in the heart of the capital of Thassos, within walking distance of everything you need for a pleasant vacation. There are the first shops, souvenir shops, pastry shops and fast food shops, everything is in the immediate vicinity. The accommodation units are completely new and modernly decorated, and there is also a swimming pool to complete the experience.
This facility is located in Limenas, the capital of Thassos, 750m from the town's sandy beach. The first bakery is located 120m away, and on the ground floor of the hotel is the famous pastry shop Stamatis, where we recommend trying the famous loukumades. The first market is 260m away.
The hotel (consisting of two buildings in the same courtyard) has 14 units for rent - three double rooms with a sea view, three double rooms with a courtyard view and six triple rooms with a courtyard view, as well as one apartment (35m2) and a maisonette (35m2), a unit on two levels. The units do not have a kitchen with a stove.
On the first floor there are three double rooms (18m2) with sea view. They have one French bed and there is also the possibility of adding a third (standard bed) in one of these three rooms. The remaining two units are for two people. On the first floor there are also three double rooms (18m2) with a view of the courtyard and one apartment with a view of the courtyard. The rooms are equipped in the same way as the rooms with a sea view, that is, with one French bed, and in one of the rooms it is possible to insert a third (standard bed), while the capacity of the other rooms of this type is for two people. The apartment has one French sofa and a sofa bed for two children.
On the ground floor (second building) there are two triple deluxe rooms (23m2) with one double bed and one single bed. The remaining four triple rooms are located on the first floor and are furnished in the same way. Triple units overlook the courtyard. There is also a maisonette in this building, which has a sofa bed on the ground floor and a French bed in the gallery (which is not closed). The maisonette overlooks the courtyard and the pool.
All accommodation units have air conditioning and TV, bathroom with shower, refrigerator, wireless internet access, hairdryer, mosquito nets and electric kettle. A baby cot is available on request. Small pets are allowed, but this must be emphasized before booking.
Cleaning is done every day and towels and bed linen are changed every third day.
The courtyard with the pool is nicely decorated, with tables and chairs that you can use.
If you want quality accommodation in the city center, Alkyon Hotel can be an excellent choice.
Limenas is also excellent as a base for touring the island, as it is very close to the most beautiful beaches such as Mermerna (6km), Makrijamos (2km), La Scala (4km), Pahis (8km).
