Asterias Villa in Astris is decent and clean accommodation at a good price, great for families and couples alike. It is far from crowds and noise, has a large yard and shade, private parking and is in a good location, as it is only ten minutes' walk from the beach. Also, Astris is a very good base for island hopping.

Villa Asterias is located at the exit of Astris. It is 500m away from the city beach.

Asterias is a two-story villa that offers 10 studios. It was completely renovated in 2013.

The studios (18m2) on the ground floor are three-bedded and have one double bed and one single bed (under which another drawer bed can be pulled out). The bathrooms have been renovated for the 2019 season and have been expanded, they have a shower that is separated by glass.

The studios (15m2) on the first floor are slightly smaller than the studios on the ground floor and they have two beds. They have a double bed.

Studios have TV and air conditioning, hairdryer, mosquito nets, kitchen, bathroom and terrace.

The studios on the ground floor have a porch with seating that leads directly to the yard, while the studios on the first floor have a medium-sized terrace that overlooks the yard in front of the house. Considering that the house is on a hill, seen from the back of the house, the studios that are on the first floor also open directly to the yard behind the house.

Cleaning is done daily, while bed linen and towels are changed every three days.

In the back part of the yard there is a brick barbecue and some toys for children. The yard in front of the house is quite large, with plenty of shade and seating, and there is also a private parking lot.

The accommodation is located opposite the gas station, in the south of the island, 5 km east of Potos.

Villa Asterias can serve as an excellent base. It is only 500m away from a decent city beach, which you can reach on foot if you don't feel like driving. Just a minute's drive from the house is Psili Amos, considered by many to be one of the most beautiful beaches on the island, and nearby is Thessaloniki (2km).

Considering that Astris does not offer many facilities for tourists, Potos is only a five-minute drive away and there you can find everything you want - a promenade, restaurants, shops, supermarkets, an amusement park and a little crowd.

In Astris there are several restaurants-taverns, two grocery stores, several hotels and villas, an organized beach and a gas station. You can buy fruits, vegetables and basic groceries in drugstores. The beach is partly sandy and partly rocky, with umbrellas and sunbeds.

Salonikios beach is only 2 km from the villa, Rosso Gremos and San Antonio are 3-4 km away, and Livadi and Aliki are about 15 km away.

If you want a good base from where everything is available to you, and it is not important for you to be in a big place, then Villa Asterias is a good choice.
