The environment

The municipality of Bar is located on the western coastal border of Montenegro on the coast of the Adriatic Sea. It is about 53 kilometers (33 miles) from Podgorica city of Montenegro in the east lies the largest lake in the Balkans, Lake Skada. To the west, across the sea, lies Italy. The municipality extends to the southern shore of Lake Skada. This area is visited for its leisure activities and hiking. A small settlement near Bar, Dobra Voda is a small community with only 1600 inhabitants. It is a destination for walking and sunbathing as it has a long beautiful beach.

The municipality has twenty beaches stretching for 9 kilometers (6 miles). Dobra Voda offers entertainment, activities and restaurants.
