Apartment DENA is a two bedroom (45m2) functional, comfortable or nicely decorated apartment near the city center and the main tourist attractions of the city of Zagreb. Only 15 minutes walk from the city center or 25 minutes walk to Ban Josip Jelačić Square. It is also excellently located in the business and financial environment between the main roads of the city of Zagreb (Vukovarska and Savska streets, Slavonska avenija and Miramarskeceste) and is very easy to find on roads from all directions. The apartment is located on the 3rd floor (no elevator) in a residential building with 6 apartments in the urban settlement Vrbik where there are many business buildings, stock exchange, banks, embassies and consulates, colleges, university, library, HRT, shops, restaurants and cafes, concert hall and several nightclubs which makes this location attractive for young people as well as for business people.
The apartment consists of a bathroom, hallway, living room connected to the kitchen and a balcony overlooking the park / playground of Knin Square. The apartment is oriented in two directions (east-west) so that the bedroom faces east and II Street. Vrbik has a living room and a balcony to the west and is therefore very bright and sunny.
Free parking spaces can be found in the vicinity of the apartment building, but they are harder to take because the village is very popular. Larger free car parks are around a 10-minute walk away. There are enough toll parking spaces in front of the Dena apartment building and the street, and since it is located in the area of the city center, parking is charged 5 Kn per hour. It can be parked for three hours in a row by sending a message (number plate eg ZG1234AD to number 102) and / or on the parking meter. By combining both methods of payment for parking, you can park in front of the apartment all day (from 7:00 to 20:00 on weekdays) for 65, - KN (8,50 EUR). On Saturdays it is charged until 15:00 and on Sundays it is free. You can also take a daily parking ticket valid for 24 hours in the entire area of the city of Zagreb for II. and III. parking zone and costs 100, - Kn. If you want to park your car in a garage nearby there is a Hypo Center (5 minutes walk) with a public garage where an hour of parking costs 6 kuna from Mon to Sat 7:00 am to 9:00 pm or 4 kn Mon to Sat from 9:00 pm - 7:00 am as well as Sundays throughout the day. There is a possibility of buying weekly and monthly tickets.
From the apartment DENA you have only 5 minutes walk from the tram stations "Učiteljski fakultet" (lines: 14,5,4,17) and "Vrbik" (lines: 5,13,3)
From the Bus Station (Držićeva Street) you can reach us directly by tram line 5 in the direction of "Prečko". Get off at the tram station "Vrbik" and walk 5 minutes down the street Fausta Vrančića and II Vrbik.
The fastest way to get there is from the train station. You pass through the passage of the "Import Center" to the avenue of the City of Vukovar, then down the avenue to the tram station "Vrbik", then down the street Fausta Vrančića and II Vrbik. The walk takes about 15 minutes. If you want, you can also get directly by tram line 4 in the direction of "Savski most". Get off at the station "Učiteljski fakultet" and you need about 5 minutes to walk to "Kninski Trg" (see map)
From the airport you can take the Croatia Airlines bus to the Bus Station. A one-way ticket costs 30 kuna. The ride takes about thirty minutes. The bus leaves in front of the airport every thirty minutes. The first leaves at 05:00 and the last at 20:00. After 20:00, it departs after the landing of Croatia Airlines scheduled flights. From the Bus Station you can get to the apartment as above.
If you are coming by taxi, remember our address - II Vrbik 10, GPS coordinates: 45.795941, 15.967727. The taxi rank is in front of the bus and train station, as well as in front of the entrance to the Pleso Airport building. A ride from the main bus and train station costs around 20 kuna (€ 3 / $ 4). A ride from the airport costs around 100-160 kuna (€ 20 / $ 25).
