The hotel is situated just 2 minutes walk from a sandy beach, in the center of Stalida resort. Latania complex consists of studios accommodating from two up to four persons and apartments with separate bedroom accommodating up to four or five persons. All rooms are beautifully decorated and equipped with satellite TV, international music channel, direct dial telephone (plus in-house communication), refrigerator, two electric tings, coffee maker, toaster, microwave, hair dryer, bath/shower. There is also personally controlled air conditioning and safety deposit boxes available inside all rooms with an extra charge. CASTELLO apartments are built on the coastal road and in just 80 m far from the sandy beach which is right in front of us in the PARADISE settlement, well known as FRANGOCASTELLO. The name was established by the existence of the impressive Venetian Fortress which dominates the whole region not only for its history but also for the legends that follow it (for heroes, fatal battles, Drossoulites e.t.c.). Therefore, the apartments' name CASTELLO was given to celebrate the existence of the fortress which indeed is not more than 450 meters far from us. As far as architecture is concerned, we have made in our building a small and characteristic copy of the fortress' turrets. Our unit started with the construction of three apartments as a holiday home for the owner and his two children.. Over a few years, the love and the interest that our visitors expressed for our region imposed the addition of more apartments and therefore their tourist exploitation. Thus, today we have a total of 8 apartments of various types for our guests. Although the apartments are relatively new in their construction, with our participation in two European programs, we renovated, modernized and customized them to fit the demands of a small but completely hospitable unit for foreigners and local guests. The apartments are build in a fenced area of 5000 m2 – especially made for total protection of little children – full of big decorative trees and a stunning variety of flowers.
