AGIOS IOANNIS

Agios Ioannis is a village on the eastern side of Pelion in Magnesia. It is 45 km away from the beautiful city of Volos.The visitors can reach our village only using the road network passing from Volos and making their way through the magical mountain.

The area of Eastern Pelion, where Agios Ioannis lies, combines the natural beauty of the mountain and the sea. It is a place where the blue of the sea mixes with the green and brown of the mountain. One can choose from a variety of activities which include bathing in one of the three beaches of the village (Agios Ioannis, Plaka, Papa Nero), which are organized with umbrellas, or in less crowded ones like Damouchari, Fakistra, Agioi Saranda etc. One can also visit other beaches next to the village for swimming or fishing with a boat from the dock.

BEACHES

The complex is just 100 meters away from the splendid beach Papa Nero, where the beautiful natural setting is combined with crystal clear water. Papa Nero is a nice sandy beach, ideal for relaxing in the quiet and peaceful atmosphere.
At a distance of 400m from the complex is the main beach Agios Ioannis and it is the most beautiful beach in the area of Pelion. The beach offers plenty of entertainment for families and youth, as well as restaurants, cafes and bars.
At a short distance north of Agios Ioannis place is the beach Plaka. This beach will impress all the visitors with its wild natural beauty, crystal clear waters and lush vegetation that reaches to the edge of the beach.
Damouchari is a fantastic sandy beach with a natural harbor, 2km away from Elias studio & apartment
