Villa Kavourakia is a small residence, located on a small hill in the Kolios area on Skiathos Island and surrounded by lush nature, offering cozy and relaxing studios and apartments overlooking the Aegean Sea on the side and a fabulous olive and pine tree forest on the other side. The Villa Kavourakiais almost set in the middle of the road that connects Skiathos town to Koukounaries beach, reachable by bus line 13.

Guests can choose to relax in the lush garden or on the beautiful panoramic terrace that offers enchanting sea views. The Villa Kavourakiais residence welcomes pets in all studios and apartments. An Internet Pointis also available for guests. 4 of the best beaches of Skiathosare within walking distances and also there is a regular every 10-15 minutes bus service from Koliosarea to Skiathos town and to the rest of the almost 70 beaches Skiathos Island has.

Kolios area

Kolios area is one of the most organized areas in Skiathos. There is a super market just a view meters from our villa, Beach bars, pool bars, tennis courts and restaurants are available within walking distances and the famous Vromolimnos beach bar and restaurant is only 800 meters away. You can enjoy the water sports that are available at any beaches where you can reach them using either the local bus services (200m far away from the building) or your car. Due to the fact that our building located at the middle of the south tourist area of the island you have the choice to reach the most beautiful and sandy beaches in a sort time.

Skiathos island

Skiathos boasts many sandy beaches and clear blue sea. A small island recently best known in the hit film "Mamma Mia" with it's spectacular scenery. On the southern side of the island, many if not all beaches offer watersports activities including boat trips around Skiathos and it'sneighboring islands Skopelos and Allonisos. Near to the villa, Vromolimnos beach is a popular choice amongst those who like the party atmosphere and cocktails. There is also Kolios Beach which is perfect for the family. Other nearby activities include sailing and scuba diving. There are also opportunities to visit the local monasteries which is particularly special during Greek Easter with its services, fireworks and parades.

There is a wide variety of cuisine ranging from, of course Greek but also Italian, French and Spanish food. For the young person, Skiathos town boasts many decent night clubs along one strip and a cluster of cocktail bars along another. As well as the hustle and bustle one would expect with a holiday destination, the island boasts an abundance of Mediterranean flora and many beautiful birds, admired from the many walking paths in the forest. The peaceful forest walks make the perfect escape from the tourist beaches and can be most appreciated in the early summer when the weather is cooler and the flora is at its best.
